Floor plan and tables

Your whole room in front of you and every table's state

Draw the room once as it really stands, then see at a glance what is free, what is seated and who is waiting for the bill, and work on any table in one tap.

Why a list of table numbers is not enough

A till that shows tables as numbered buttons makes staff memorise where table 12 is and ask a colleague whether table 7 has paid. In a rush, a table held for a guest on the way gets given to someone else, and a table stays "occupied" in the system an hour after its guests left.

In Loqma, tables are a map of your actual room: each in its place and shape, its colour changing with its order's state, and a tap shows its bill and its next step, on the same screen.

How it works in Loqma

  • A map laid out like your room

Drag tables to where they really are, square or round, and group them into sections such as indoor and outdoor. The same layout appears on the tablet, the phone, the desktop app and the dashboard, and the whole room fits the screen with no scrolling.

  • A colour for every state

Free is green, seated and eating is red, awaiting payment is amber, and reserved is blue with a dashed border. Above the map sit the occupancy rate and the count of each state, and every section shows how many tables it holds.

  • The table panel, without leaving the room

Tap a table and its panel opens: its bill's items, the amount left to collect, and one big button for its state. Free: "Start an order" after you pick how many guests. Seated: "Add items". Awaiting payment: "Pay" with the amount. Reserved: "Check in and start order".

  • Move, split and pay from the same panel

Under the big button sit the other steps: pay, open the order, move to another table, split the bill, book or seat from the waitlist, cancel a booking or call its guest. Each button shows only for those allowed to use it.

  • Items not yet sent to the kitchen stand out

If a table has items the kitchen has not received, they show as one amber row, "2 not sent to the kitchen", and a tap sends them. It is the one thing on a bill nobody is cooking and the map cannot show you.

  • A QR code for every table

Each table has a QR code guests order and pay from, and their order shows on that same table. If the sticker is lost or you want to change it, renew or revoke the code and the old one stops working.

The details that matter on the floor

  • A tables and sections admin page: how many tables and seats each section has, and which tables are not on the map yet
  • A dine-in order is tied to a table, so no floor order has a guest you cannot find
  • A table with an open order shows as occupied even if its status was not updated by hand
  • The map does not mirror in Arabic, so the right side stays the right side of your room
  • A reserved table shows today's guest only, not next week's
  • The occupancy rate counts reserved tables with seated ones, because neither can go to a walk-in
  • An unpaid QR round is cancelled after five minutes, so a table is not held by a dead bill
  • A waiter who cannot ring sales can still open a table's panel and read its bill
  • On the tablet the panel opens over the map on the side away from the table, so it never covers it

The floor plan, tables and a QR code per table are in every plan. Reservations and the waitlist start from the Growth plan. Pricing

Common questions

Yes. On the map, press "Arrange" and drag each table to its place, choosing square or round. Sections and tables are added from the admin page, and the layout appears the same on every device.

Tap the table and choose "Move"; the order opens on the move screen and you pick the new table. The bill moves with all its items and payments.

Yes, from the order page: split the bill between guests or merge two bills. On the table panel, the "Split" button takes you straight there when the table is awaiting payment.

Not at the moment. A table is free, occupied or reserved, and becomes free as soon as its order closes.

Yes. The Loqma app runs on phones and tablets, and a waiter sees the map and opens orders according to the permissions you give them.

The order shows on that table on the map and on the orders board, and reaches the kitchen. Every guest at the table can order and pay their own bill.
