A size for every item, with its price
Small, medium and large, or any sizes you want, each with its own price. Reports show each size's sales on its own row, so you know which size people really order.
Every option on an item has its rule and price, the cashier picks in a few taps without forgetting anything, and the kitchen reads the order exactly as the guest asked.
Extra cheese that was never charged, a large rung up as a medium, a guest who asked for no onion and a kitchen that never knew. The cashier writes a note by hand, the kitchen reads hurried handwriting, and at month end the stock is short on cheese and nobody knows why.
In Loqma, sizes and add-ons are options defined on the item, each with its price and rule. The cashier cannot add the item while a required choice is missing, the add-on prints on the kitchen ticket and the invoice, and it deducts stock if it has a recipe.

One group for sauces, another for the bread, a third for doneness. For each group you set whether it is required and the fewest and most choices a guest can make, and each option has its extra price. One group can be attached to many items.
Each group carries a counter of how many are picked against its limit, and once the limit is reached the remaining options dim. If the cashier presses add with a required choice missing, the screen names every missing group, not just the first.
When all that is left on an item is one required choice such as its size, tapping the size itself adds the item to the order, with no confirm button. Optional add-ons are picked before it.
Nine notes in one tap: rush, pack separately, extra spicy, sauce on the side, no salt, for a child, very hot, no ice, cut in pieces. They print in the till's language for the kitchen to read, with a typed note beside them when you need one.
Each add-on can have its own recipe: extra cheese deducts cheese, an extra shot deducts coffee. So stock and cost count what was actually sold, not just the base item.
Sizes, add-ons and quick notes are in every plan. Add-on recipes that deduct stock start from the Growth plan. Pricing
Yes. Make the group required, and the cashier cannot add the item until a choice is made from it; the same goes for the guest in the online store.
Set the group's maximum to 3. The cashier sees the counter, and once the third is picked the rest dim. You can set a minimum too, such as "pick at least two sauces".
Each option has its own extra price, or none at zero. The price is added to the item's price in the basket and on the invoice, while a size carries its own price in place of the item's.
There are nine fixed quick notes in one tap, plus a note field you can type anything into. The quick note list itself cannot be changed at the moment.
Yes, if you give them a recipe on the recipes page: every time the add-on sells, its ingredients are deducted from stock and counted in the dish's cost.
Splitting an item's add-ons into two halves is not available at the moment. You can define a "second half" group as options on the item, and it prints for the kitchen under the item.
